Rejoicing because of suffering for the Name

A thought from my bible reading that I did this morning, Acts 5:40-42 NIV (written below):

It's amazing that the apostles (after subsequent warnings, floggings and being told not to preach the name of Jesus), in Acts 5:41: "left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing because they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name".

Amazing! Imagine celebrating after receiving floggings for the name of Jesus! Crazy! But I really hope to have faith like that one day =D.

  1. Kiki,

I found your blog after searching for material on Nick Vujicic. Even though you've only posted four times in your blog, I can see that you speak about Jesus in a way that is welcoming to the young and the seeking. I am also blogging with the same intent.

Here is my blog. Let me know if you would like to stay in contact. I am hoping to be able to find a group of people who can work together to produce a website with a steady steam of stories like these for the sake of people who search the web for christian stories.

    My blog is

    1. Hi Bill,

That sounds great! I'd love to stay in contact with you and share some of my stories about Jesus Christ and what I have learnt.

I've had a look on your website, how do I follow it?

      Thanks,

      Kiki

    2. Sorry Kiki for the delay. I did not see your response until I visited your site again. To follow the site I mentioned, go to the web version of the site I mentioned and look on the right side for "subscribe by email". I will do the same.
